In the fall of 2016, I was brought on by a former colleague as a strategy consultant to help a digital product company (the Squarespace of commercial real estate) transform their organization into a digital marketing firm. Over the course of nine months, I helped them solidify their vision, ideal customers, created messaging and launch materials for their new brand, and guided the expression of their rebrand. I did this while educating their Montreal and New York-based tech employees, key stakeholders in building the brand and future growth of the business.
The “before” had a tech-led look and feel with messaging that was product-focused and no credibility as a digital marketing agency. The new brand was inspired by the movie Kingsman (minus the violence) - a premium, upscale brand that merges the bespoke craftsmanship of high end real estate with REOL’s technical expertise.
The company continues to work with New York’s top real estate firms, maintaining their new brand foundation and identity six years later, today.
